The Grain & The Beam
We let the light draw into it.
A laser engraving is a controlled burn — a beam focused to a point finer than a hair, vaporizing wood fiber on contact. What's left is not ink on a surface, but a groove the wood will carry for as long as it stands. Every ring in the slice was already a record of years. We add a new chapter.
